Now that we’re a month into the New Year, how well are you sticking to your resolutions? Health clubs are usually packed and families prepare healthier menu items during the month of January. But what happens during the other eleven months of the year?
We often have the best intentions, but it’s no surprise that most of us slip away from our resolutions and head right back into our comfort zone. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics have four suggestions on how to stick with your goals for the New Year. Start by making your goal specific and choosing a realistic one. Then make a reminder list, and go for it! If your selections don’t seem too far out of reach, they will be much easier to obtain. Healthfinder.gov has some examples of how to meet these four goals.
