March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness month. According to the American Cancer Society, the disease is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S. Nine out of ten people who are diagnosed with colorectal cancer are over the age of 50, but doctors say it is never too early to start getting regular screenings. Find out more about colorectal cancer here, and make sure to register for a 9Health Fair where you can get a low-cost colorectal screening. The fairs start as early as tomorrow and go through May. This screening will be offered at most locations; you can find a list of tests offered here. What do you do to reduce your risk of colorectal cancer? Have you had a screening before? Share with us on Facebook.
